Review of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 by Lucasarts

This is a game review for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2. Now, let me start off by saying that I’ve only played small portions of the first game, but even to me this one seems like an improvement.

Dead Starkiller has been supposedly cloned, but the clone seems to have retained his memory. So, escaping Darth Vader, he sets off to find his love, Juno Eclipse, and save General Kota.

This game’s sound is spectacular. Nothing more to say. George Lucas has done the music right for about every Star Wars game in the past, and this game is no exception. 9.5/10

Presentation: The menus are nice, but nothing too superb going on there. The in-game graphics are another story, though. They look amazing. In fact, I’m willing to say they are some of the best graphics on the 360 to date. 10/10

Gameplay: This game’s fun-factor is determined solely by how much you enjoy force lighting, throwing and mind-tricking stormtroopers into various debris. If you’re a huge Star Wars fan like me, then that’s a lot of fun. If not, this game still has quite a few engaging moments to be had. 8.5/10

Multiplayer: N/A

Length: Most people say this game is short, but I’m not one of them. It’s a good 6-hour trek across the Star Wars universe, and with lots of epic moments to be had, even the lack of extra modes to keep you entertained is okay. 8/10

Overall, the average score is 9/10, although most of the fun is really determined by if you like dismembering limbs from Stormtroopers and overly large robot spiders.
